GET INVOLVED IN THE 2008 PAGAN PRIDE WEEK

Get Involved! There are many great ways for you to help make the National Capital Region Pagan Pride Week a success ranging all the way from bringing a canned food item to one of the three Pagan Pride Days to underwriting a portion of the event.

Please take a moment to consider the following opportunities for your assistance in making the 2008 National Capital Region Pagan Pride Week the best yet!

Become A Sponsor: Not only do our sponsors help make the National Capital Region Pagan Pride Week possible, they also get a great collection of "thank-you" benefits! But most importantly, YOU are Pagan Pride! You are the main attraction! This is YOUR chance to help show the world that your group is here and proud! To find out how you can become a sponsor today, please see our Sponsor Form.

Volunteer: Volunteers are needed during the week and before! We need you. We can't do this without you. If you'd like to become a National Capital Region National Capital Region Pagan Pride Week Volunteer, please visit our Volunteer Form where you can consider the many positions available and sign up to help!

Organize A Food Drive: Bring a canned food item to donate (and if you belong to a group, encourage your group to start collecting food items now) so that we can better benefit our area needy. Canned and other nonperishable food items will be collected at all three of the Pagan Pride Days to benefit local food banks.

Bring A Book: New and gently-used Pagan and Pagan-related books will be collected at all three of the Pagan Pride Days to further expand the OHF Lending Library - a planned resource which shall eventually become part of the DC Pagan Community Center.

NEW! Submit Art Work: Help make the OHF Coloring Book something special for our kids! Every year we give out a small coloring book to help keep the little ones busy. This year we're opening it up as a place for local Pagan artist to showcase their work. Be aware of your viewing audience, your pieces will be stared at and colored in by young eyes. The book is standard 8.5x11 and pictures should have clear bold lines. Email your work in any format (.jpg .gif .psd etc.) to killina@openhearth.org. Also include the name you'd like to be credited. (Example: This image provided by Craft Name of Group Name)

List Your Resource: Listings are now being accepted for the Open Hearth Resource Guide - a print directory of Pagan resources in the DC/MD/VA area and distributed for free at the National Capital Region Pagan Pride Days. Submit a listing (free for resources in DC, MD, and VA) and help create a better informed and networked community!

Create A Link: If you have a web site, please consider posting the banner below and linking back to the 2008 National Capital Region Pagan Pride Week site.
