Night of 1000 Goddesses was originally born from the idea of creating theater that brought bellydance to a higher artistic level. Much of this lay in creating dance around specific visual themes; the basic premise was that the dancer had to dance a "description" to a specific word given. A vignette of these dances would then be showcased at the dance party. The word that most intrigued dancers? The word Goddess. The varied dances showcased so much emotion, variation, power, and creativity....the dancers gracing the show brought so much emotional integrity, that a second calling was inevitable...
