DIRECTIONS:

The FDR memorial is located on the Western side of the Tidal Basin adjacent to the Jefferson Memorial. The DC PPD will be located at the FDR Ceremonial Loop on the Northern side of the monument (keeping in mind that the line you draw from the Capitol to the Washington monument is East-West). The Ceremonial loop is located on W. Basin Drive, SW, which is perpendicular to Ohio Dr., SW. Ohio runs parallel to the Potomac River.

The site can be accessed via Maine Ave via I-395 South (the 14th Street Bridge exit) or Potomac Park via I-395 N., the Memorial Bridge, Ohio Blvd., Rock Creek Parkway, or I-66. Once in the area, follow signs leading to parking. The greatest abundance of parking is located near the I-395 overpass across the Potomac River.

The FDR Memorial is also Metro accessible. Exit at the Smithsonian Metro stop on the Red Line and head south east toward the Potomac River. It is about a five or ten minute walk.
