Pushing the boundaries of traditional cabaret belly dance and American Tribal Style belly dance, Romka’ is a tribal fusion dance company based in Washington, DC which combines a strong technical base with innovative movements and music to create a unique and powerful expression of music through dance.

Featured at tribal gatherings, dance clubs, and special events across the region, including Belegarth's Autum Equinox, the Warehouse Theater, the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, and the 2006 and 2007 Persephone's Masquerades, the OHF is pleased to again present Romka’ as a featured part of this year's Spring Ball.

Rhodes Tavern Troubadours




THE RHODES TAVERN TROUBADOURS

Combining Americana, roots rock, and pop into an infectious blend of musical fun for the whole family, the Rhodes Tavern Troubadours are an award-winning rock and roll band from Washington, DC.

Bringing a wealth of experience to Persephone's Masquerade, the various members of the Rhodes Tavern Troubadours have (in combination) recorded on 40 albums and have performed in over 40 states and 12 countries!

Collectively nominated for 11 Washington Area Music Awards, including "Best New Band" and "Best Rock/Pop Band," the members of RTT were additionally up for Album of the Year (On the Redline), Song of the Year (Redline Train), Musician of the Year (Dave), Songwriter of the Year (Jake), and Vocalist of the Year (Mark). LEE DAVENPORT

Making weekly appearances at Pat Troy's Ireland's Own, Lee Davenport is also a regular at the Maryland Renaissance Festival and occasional member of the Celtic and Renaissance music group Flatpickin.

In addition to being an outstanding harpist and musician, Lee also makes the instruments he uses, crafting handmade harps for over twenty years. The OHF is proud to feature Mr. Davenport as our ambient musician during the dinner portion of Persephone's Masquerade.
